Marcie O'Neall is an exceptionally talented, award-winning local artist.  She is also a Poodle Rescue Board member and strong supporter of rescue.  Marcie will donate 1/3 of the proceeds of every commissioned pet portrait to Poodle Rescue if you mention this offer when you contact her.  Your dog doesn't have to be adopted from PRH - but we can help you if you need one!

how to order

  • To start the process, a deposit of half the total cost will be remitted to the artist. The client, you, will submit one or more of your favorite photos. The final half of the painting's price will be due upon completion of the portrait.
  • The pet commissioned will be the subject of a painting produced by Marcie O'Neall and that image will be the artist's interpretation of the subject based on the photos and information provided by you the client.
  • Photos of your pet should be sharp and clear.  Send photos to [email protected] for rendering of the portrait.
  • A photo of the painting in progress will be sent to you by email at each sitting.  Completion of the portrait will depend on the complexity and size of the painting.  Expect four weeks from beginning to completion.
  • Final payment and delivery / pickup:  Once the client's final payment is received the portrait will be insured and shipped to you the client, or picked up by you the client.
  • Payments may be made by check or cash.  Checks must clear the bank before start or delivery of painting.
  • Poodle Rescue of Houston (PRH) will get 1/3 of the price of the painting you order.
